Spring Forest Qigong

Qigong (pronounced “chee-GONG”) is a Chinese energy balancing and healing technique that has been practiced over 4,000 years. Qigong principles form the basis of all Chinese medicine. Qi means “life energy” and Gong means “to work with”. So simply put Qigong means working with the body’s energy.

Spring Forest Qigong is is a form of healing qigong. The goals are to remove energy blockages in your body that cause sickness, and restore natural qi flow and healing. It is a simple and effective system of movements and meditations that can be done anywhere, anytime, and by anyone. No equipment is required. It can help you improve physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.

It consists of meditation, breathing, mindfulness, and slow moving exercises (like tai chi) designed to assist you restore the normal flow of qi. This system of qigong was developed by internationally acclaimed Qigong Master Chunyi Lin, and is comprised of four components: visualization, breathing, postures/movements, and sound. It is simple and easy to learn, and it is a wonderful tool to complement any healing modality. Anyone can learn to practice SFQ regardless of age or ability.
